Each piece becomes both a portrait and a question – what can we learn from nature, and how closely are we connected to it? ✨ About Katharina Wenzel & Artpiq Behind the exhibition is Katharina Wenzel , founder of Artpiq , a platform dedicated to contemporary art and emerging international artists, based across Europe. Artpiq focuses on presenting distinct painterly voices and fresh perspectives , creating space for thoughtful dialogue within contemporary practice. Their curatorial approach connects artists, collectors, and audiences through carefully considered exhibitions and collaborations. From masters of camouflage to creatures with extraordinary senses and powerful defence mechanisms, this interactive experience brings their stories to life. Young explorers will receive a “Pasaporte Marino” , guiding them through a series of missions across the aquarium. Along the way, they’ll discover fascinating marine species, unlock their unique “superpowers,” and collect illustrated cards inspired by real ocean animals. 🌍 Learning through play Beyond the fun, the experience carries an important message. The passport includes eco-tips — simple, everyday actions that help protect the sea and fight some of its biggest threats, from plastic pollution to habitat loss. It’s a hands-on way for children (and adults) to connect with marine biodiversity and understand how small actions can make a big difference. 🌊 About Palma Aquarium & its mission Home to one of Europe’s deepest shark tanks and over 8,000 marine animals, Palma Aquarium is more than just a visitor attraction – it’s a centre for marine education, research, and conservation .
