🎨✨ Fundació Miró Mallorca – April 2026 Set above Palma with views over the sea, Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró a Mallorca is one of the island’s most inspiring cultural spaces – a place where art, architecture, and landscape come together in a truly unique way. Built around Joan Miró’s original studios ( Sert Studio and Son Boter ), the foundation offers an intimate glimpse into the artist’s creative universe, alongside a dynamic programme of contemporary exhibitions, talks, and cultural events throughout the year. This April, the foundation comes alive with a series of special events that invite visitors to experience Miró’s legacy in new and engaging ways. “ The important thing here is the work that still has to be done. ” – Joan Miró ✨ Highlights this month 🌿 April 5 | Silent walk & meditation (10:00–11:00) A guided, contemplative experience through the foundation’s surroundings – an invitation to slow down and connect with Miró’s world through stillness and observation. 🎨 April 15 | Opening of new exhibitions (19:30) A key moment of the season, with the inauguration of three new exhibitions: “New Life After Fire” by Carlos Bunga “Miró Mont-roig / Horta Picasso” by Jean Marie del Moral “La montagna incantata” by Claudio Zulian The evening includes guided visits with the artists, a cocktail in the gardens, and a live concert – making it one of the standout cultural events of the month. 💫 Special for Members – April 9–12 Free passes for Friends of the Foundation to two major contemporary art fairs in Palma: 🎨 ART COLOGNE PALMA MALLORCA Held at Palau de Congressos Palma Bay 🖼️ SUMMA MALLORCA – International Contemporary Art Fair At the Poble Espanyol exhibition grounds An exclusive opportunity to connect with the wider contemporary art scene on the island. 📸 April 23 | Photofest visit (19:00) A special visit with photographers Jean Marie del Moral and Francesco Giaveri (private event by invitation). 🎷 April 30 | Miró & Jazz (17:30 & 19:00) Celebrating International Jazz Day with live music by Tocabemolls Jazz Band – where art and sound meet in a unique setting. 💫 Why go Whether you’re visiting for the first time or returning, Fundació Miró Mallorca offers a different way to experience art – less about rushing through exhibitions, more about taking time, exploring, and feeling inspired.
